Railway Reserve Heritage Trail Walk

Not far from our Tiny house is the Railway walk. The Eastern Railway was made to access the forest areas and created employment, townships and transport for the locals who lived in land. It was most active between 1880 and 1930 and later on replaced the York Road as the towns principal lifeline. The railway closed in 1966 and then later turned into a local attraction for everyone to enjoy.

We only walked 2km then returned to the town Darlington, we passed so many dogs and their owners everyone happy to return a smile and say hi.

We got to enjoy some beautiful wild flowers and some greenery before the harsh summer returns before Christmas.

Darlington you are beautiful.
